A combination of experience, history and nature makes the Marches one ofHotel Tower the most culturally interesting regions in Italy. Here there is the highest density of museums and galleries in Italy, with approximately 100 città d’arte, 106 castles and 71 important historic theatres, 55 of which still in use. In this land, where the country has conserved its natural character, the food and wine produce have maintained their authenticity and originality. The hills of the Marches Appenines slope gently down to the sea and thick tropic-like vegetation merges into the sandy beaches of the Adriatic coast.

The  Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi lies on the hill along the valley of the River Tronto. Located in the southern province of Le Marche, the Piceno area, in the small village of Castel di Lama. It is 8 kilometers (4.9 Miles) from the beautiful town of Ascoli Piceno.

Hotel Picture 1 Guests can choose among ten suites furnished with antique pieces and offering a complete range of facilities: five suites in the Relais Villa and five separate apartment suites (duplex) with bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchenette, in the San Pancrazio Cottage. The restaurant "La Quintana", the coffee house, the bookshop, meeting rooms, the swimming pool and sauna together with the historic gardens, complete the compound.

All the events which take place at the Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi are refined and elegant. Our specialized staff are there to satisfy every request with the utmost care and attention. Cocktail, business and gala dinners, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, christenings or private moments to share in a small number  for a unique experience. Hotel Picture 2

The garden that surrounds the San Pancrazio Cottage and the swimming pool, is available for small and medium events (up to 200 people). It offers a natural, private and elegant atmosphere. Wedding, christening and communion events,
birthday parties and anniversaries, are perfectly framed in this space.

The  Gardens and the Historic Villa are ideal for intimate or more formal events, like weddings, business and gala dinners. Attention to every little detail in the choice of fabrics, table-ware, flower arrangements, music, lighting and fireworkswill make your event unforgettable, unique and simply magical! The large kitchen in the ancient crypt is available for informal dinners up to 40 people.

In 1870 the noble Carfratelli Seghetti family decided to leave an elegant and cultivated botanical imprint on what had become their summer residence, and they engaged an outstanding European personality: the great German landscape architect Ludwig Winter. At that time he was well-known forGarden his work on the garden of Villa La Mortola at Ventimiglia (now a national botanical garden) owned by the English Hanbury brothers. He was also a great lover of exotic plants. The Seghetti Panichi Historic Gardens, which he designed, is a rare example of what one could call “a moved landscape”, with exotic palms and terraced citrus trees which are typical of the Ligurian landscape. To plant a garden of such dimensions and particularly of such botanical importance required an enormous intellectual and economic commitment. Indeed, there are still local records of the processions of ox-drawn carts that transported the fresh soil from the river banks.

The Borogo offers its guests a restaurant service with traditional recipes and local produce of the Marches. Other services available include: high quality laundry, babysitting, massage, beauty treatment with reliable staff recommended by the house.
