Wednesday - Upon arrival at
Cairo

Airport
, you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities, then
transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight

April 22, 2010
Thursday – Visit the
Egyptian
Museum
of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts
from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Or
tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in
Egypt
. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the
Moallaka
Church
where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. Spend the
afternoon at the Great Pyramids of Giza built for Cheops, Chephren, and
Mykerinos, and the defending Sphinx. An optional visit to the
Solar
Boat
Museum
can also be made. Overnight in
Cairo

Friday – Today you will
fly to
Luxor
and transfer to the Winter Palace Pavillion Hotel in Downtown Luxor.
The afternoon will be free to explore the waterfront, enjoy the
hotel grounds or sit in a café and watch the
Nile
. Overnight in
Luxor

– This morning Cross the Nile to the
West Bank
. Visit the Necropolis of
Thebes
, Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut Funerary
Temple
, and the
Valley of the Kings
and
Queens
. Upon completion of your touring you will transfer to your Nile Cruise
boat, home for the next 7 nights. Overnight on board. (B/L/D).

Sunday- Today is a leisurely
day on board as we sail back towards the Locks at Esna.
If we are lucky, the market will come to us, on the river.
The spectacle and fun of “Boat Shopping” is something that
happens only to a very few groups these days, while we wait at the lock
to go through. Overnight on board. (B/L/D).

Monday – This morning
travel by horse-drawn carriage to the
Temple
of
Horus
, the best preserved of all the large Egyptian Temples. Sail to Kom Ombo
visit the
Temple
of
Kom Ombo
, the twin
temple
of
Crocodile God Sobek
and Horus. This evening a
Gallebeya party for your enjoyment. Overnight

April 27, 2010
Tuesday – Today we will
fly to
Abu Simbel
and view the Temples of Ramses and Nefertari.
These spectacular temples are one of the highlights of the tour.
After the tour of the temples, we will return to the Cruise boat for
lunch and then an afternoon sail by felucca for an outside viewing of
the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island. Overnight on board.

, and the Granite Quarries. Overnight on board. this afternoon we set
sail for

Ombo
Temple
where you will be free to explore the extensive market, for souvenirs or
visit a coffee shop and try a water pipe with some shisha. Overnight on

Thursday – This morning is
at leisure in Edfu, while other groups tour
Edfu
Temple
. You may wish to return, or
just explore the waterfront for an hour or two. We will then sail back
towards the Locks at Esna, you can prepare for another fun evening with

dedicated to the god Amon-Ra. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added
statues of him. Visit the magnificent

, the largest of all

and enjoying the
Nile
River
