DAY 1: Friday - Depart
to Egypt today.
DAY 2: Saturday - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you
will be met and assisted through customs and formalities, then
transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight
in Cairo.
DAY 3: Sunday - Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which
houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the
pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Tour Old Cairo, where
early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like
the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Moallaka Church, where the Virgin Mary,
Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. Spend the afternoon at the
Great Pyramids of Giza and the defending Sphinx. End the day at the
bazaar of Khan El Khalili. Sound and Light Show available this
evening. Overnight in Cairo. (B/L)
DAY 4: Monday - This day is at leisure. Optional Excursion to
Alexandria available today. Overnight in Cairo. (B)
DAY 5: Tuesday - You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your
flight to Aswan Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be transferred
to your Deluxe Nile Cruise Boat for a 5-day/4-night Nile cruise.
Accommodations aboard will consist of an Outside Junior Suite Cabin
with private facilities. Afternoon sail by felucca for an outside
visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island. Optional excursion to Abu Simbel available.
Your
flight continues to Abu Simbel. Visit the Great Temples of Ramses II.
Stand before the colossal statue of the Pharaoh with smaller statues
of his wife Nefertari and daughters at his feet. Overnight on
board. (B/L/D)
DAY 6: Wednesday - Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, Philae Temple, and
the Granite Quarries. Sail to Edfu. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)
DAY 7: Thursday - Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of
Horus, the best preserved of all the large Egyptian Temples. Sail to
Luxor. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)
DAY 8: Friday - Cross the Nile to the West Bank. Visit the
Necropolis of Thebes, Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut Funerary
Temple, and the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Sound and Light
Show available this evening. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)
DAY 9: Saturday - Visit Luxor Temple dedicated to the god Amon-Ra.
It was expanded by Ramses II, who added statues of himself. Visit the
magnificent Karnak Temple. After disembarkation, you will be
transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at
Cairo Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in
Cairo. (B)
DAY 10: Sunday - You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your
return flight. (B)

Due to the current fuel situation and the fact the most airlines are modifying
the number of flights that are available and the cost of those flights, we are

| The
fine print:
Price is as quoted above per person double occupancy.
Single Supplement varies between $179.00 to $369.00 depending on the
date.
(This is if there is only one person in the room) $25.00 per person charge for an Egyptian Visa.
If there are enough participants, we will arrange for bus
transportation round trip from Beacon to JFK. The cost will be approximately
$70.00 per person. Deposit of $100.00 per person to sign up.
All prices subject to change. Insurance is available
and highly recommended for all passengers at an additional cost.
Prices quoted do include fuel surcharges, but do not include airport fees or airline
taxes. Also
all pricing now includes air fuel surcharges per U.S. D.O.T Regulations.
Air taxes are additional. In the past fuel surcharges were paid with final
payment and were collected along with the taxes, now the fuel surcharge is
collected as part of the package price. Bottom line is the same. You
are not paying more now, you did not pay less before!
Spending Money Cruise
boat expenses for beverages will be settled in cash. Beverages with all
included meals will be settled in cash. Soda is about $1.00, Beer about
$3.00.
You will need cash in the Street Markets. While at the hotel in Cairo you can
charge expenses to your room and pay with a credit card. During shopping opportunities, VISA is the preferred Card.
Do not plan on using American Express.
