Air is non-stop from New York or Boston. Other departure cities are Chicago $50.00, Washington Dulles or Philadelphia, $130.00, LAX or San Francisco $220.00. These prices are all based on mid-week air, Weekend surcharge Friday/Saturday/Sunday add $35.00 each way. 

Not included are airport fees and taxes, approximately $150.00.
Please note: Some dates have minimum passenger participation requirements. Ask your travel  agent for details on which ones. And bring some friends, or meet some new ones.

Itinerary

Day 1: Monday - Depart USA to Egypt today.

Day 2: Tuesday - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities, then transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cairo .

Day 3: Wednesday; - Cairo/Istanbul; You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Istanbul. After arriving in Istanbul we will check in to our hotel, then we will proceed on a half day Walking Tour of the area covering the Taksim Square, the heart of modern Istanbul, laid out in the late 1800s. As we walk around, amidst the light and glitter of the very famous, very lively Beyoglu, Pedestrian Street, Cicek Pasaji and Nevizade Sokak in Beyoglu, which is home to clusters of taverns.

Day 4: Thursday Istanbul - Cappadocia; (Museum of Goreme, and the Underground City) Today we travel from Istanbul to Cappadocia. After our arrival in Cappadocia we will start Underground City our tour. Admire the unbelievable lunar landscape and volcanic rock formations of the valleys of Cappadocia by way of a full day tour covering the Open Air Museum of Goreme and an underground city. Have you ever wanted a flying carpet? or maybe Aladdin's lamp? or maybe just a Turkish rug or some Turkish pottery? Well today you will have the chance, as we will be visiting local rug and pottery workshops in Avanos, before returning to the hotel. Lunch : At Local Restaurant. Dinner: At Hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia .

Day: 5 Friday Cappadocia - Istanbul;  (Avcilar, Uchisar Village, Derbent) In the morning visit one of the largest weaving centers of the world to get introduced to the most important fine art of the Turks. Then enjoy a full day admiring the unique lunar landscape and fairy-tale rock formations of Cappadocia through Avcılar, Uchisar, Derbent. Discover an underground city before heading to Kayseri for your evening flight back to Istanbul. Lunch: At Local Restaurant. Dinner: At Hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 6: Saturday - Istanbul; (Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Haghia Sophia, Bosphorous Cruise) Right after breakfast, we will start our Istanbul city tour. First visitBlue Mosque, The Blue Mosque which is dating from the 17th century, an architectural masterpiece famed for its exquisite blue tiles and six elegant minarets and of course the Hippodrome of Istanbul. Then we will proceed to The massive dome and four elegant minarets of Haghia Sophia rise above the Istanbul city for more than a millennium, forming the most impressive silhouette on both Asia and Europe’s sky. Not only haunting beauty of its dimly interior, it is one of the largest enclosed spaces in the world. Considered to be the 8th Wonder of the World, Hagia Sophia Cathedral is now a museum. Right after Istanbul City Tour we will join to Bosphorous Cruise by boat. We will embark on a boat for one and a half hour Bosphorous cruise, and have welcome apple tea on the boat. The Bosphorous is a narrow, navigable straits between Europe and Asia connecting the Black Sea (Pontus Euxinus) to the Marmara Sea (Propontis). This boat ride takes you past Ottoman Palaces, as well as beautiful wooden mansions and modern villas of the 19th & 20th century which from this elegant section of the city. Lunch: At Local Restaurant. Dinner: At Hotel. Overnight in Istanbul 

Day: 7 Sunday - Istanbul; (Topkapi Palace, Opkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Kervansaray)
Right afterTopkapi Palace breakfast, we will visit Topkapı Palace. Topkapı Palace is the home of Sultans
and administrative center of the mighty Ottoman Empire. Precious personal belongings of the Ottoman dynasties are on display in the Treasury and the collection of fine Chinese porcelain is among the most extensive in the world. After Topkapı Palace, we will proceed to the famous Grand Bazaar which is one of the largest and the oldest shopping malls in the world. It is a mini city that sprawls across 65 streets and 50 acres and includes some 4000 shops, tiny cafés, and restaurants – all surrounded by a wall, and entered through any of eleven gates. It offers a multitude of choices that will tempt even the non shoppers, with its local curios and souvenir shops. You can purchase carpets, jewelry, icons, leather, meerschaum pipes, ceramics, bronze and copperware. The afternoon is free to explore the city on your own. This evening we visit an exclusive nightclub where we will enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine, including the delicious array of appetizers known as meze. The Turks are justly proud of their food, and equally proud of their traditional music. After dinner folk musicians from different regions of Anatolia will perform for us. And of course no night out in Istanbul would be complete without Turkish belly-dancers. We will be entertained by some of the city’s finest. Lunch : At Local Restaurant . Gala Dinner: At Local Restaurant. Overnight in Istanbul

Day 8: Monday Istanbul/Cairo; Transfer to the airport for your fight to Cairo. Day at leisure in Cairo

Day 9: Tuesday - Cairo; Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, whichEgyptian Museum houses the world’s largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt . Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Moallaka Church where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. Spend the afternoon at the Great Pyramids of Giza built for Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, and the defending Sphinx. End the day at the bazaar of Khan El Khalili.  Optional Sound and Light Show available this evening. Overnight in Cairo . (B/L)

Day 10: Wednesday - Cairo/Aswan; You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan . Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, visit the High Dam, Old Dam, Philae Temple , and the Granite Quarries. You will be transferred to your Deluxe Nile Cruise Boat for a 4-day/3-night Nile cruise. Accommodations aboard will consist of an Outside Junior Suite Cabin with private facilities. Afternoon sail by felucca for an outside visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island . Sail to Edfu. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)

Day 11: Thursday - Cruise; Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus , the best preserved of all the large Egyptian Temples. Sail to Luxor. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)

Day 12: Friday - Cruise; Cross the Nile to the West Bank . Visit the NecroColossi of Memnonpolis of Thebes , Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut Funerary Temple , and the Valley of the Kings and Queens . Optional Sound and Light Show available this evening. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)

Day 13: Saturday - Cruise/Cairo; Visit Luxor Temple dedicated to the god Amon-Ra. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added statues of himself. Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple . After disembarkation, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo . (B)

Day 14: Sunday; You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your return flight. (B)

The Fine Print: Deposit of $200.00 is non refundable.  Egyptian Visa $25.00 per person . The round trip cost of transportation to JFK in not included. All pricing now includes air fuel surcharges per U.S. D.O.T Regulations. Air taxes are additional. In the past fuel surcharges were paid with final payment and were collected along with the taxes, now the fuel surcharge is collected as part of the package price. Bottom line is the same. You are not paying more now, you did not pay less before!

Prices quoted do include fuel surcharges, but do not include airport fees or airline taxes.
