Day  by Day Itinerary


DAY 01: Thursday - Depart to Egypt today.

DAY 02: Friday - Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities, then transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 03: Saturday - Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts from the era of the pharaohs including some belonging to King Tut. Tour Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit sites like the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Moallaka Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus took refuge. After lunch, drive to the Islamic quarter to visit the Great Citadel and visit the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the "Alabaster Mosque". Enjoy a walking tour of the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaar district. Overnight in Cairo. (B/L)

DAY 04: Sunday - Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the defending Sphinx, which have stood for the last 5000 years. Continue to ancient Memphis, the first capital of Upper and Lower Egypt. Also visit Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. Overnight in Cairo. (B/L)

DAY 06: Tuesday-  You will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, you will be transferred to your Deluxe Nile Cruise Boat for a 5-day/4-night Nile cruise. Accommodations aboard will consist of an Outside Cabin with private facilities. Afternoon sail by felucca for an outside visit to the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)

DAY 07: Wednesday - Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, Philae Temple, and the Granite Quarries. Sail to Edfu. Overnight on board. (B/L/D)

DEPOSIT REQUIRED: $200 pp non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation. For programs including sea or river cruises, deposit is $250 pp. During Peak Holiday Seasons, deposits are $250 pp and $400 pp respectively.

FULL PAYMENT: Due 45 days prior to departure (65 days for packages including sea, River Cruises). Holidays and certain restricted airfare discounts may require earlier payment. You will be advised at the time of reservation. Payments made within 21 days of departure must be in the form of a certified check or credit card.

PRICES: Reflect a 3% discount for purchases made with cash or checks. There are no discounts for sales made by credit card. Prices are based upon shared twin room occupancy. In case of human or computer error, we reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided we receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification.
